WHERE IS LOVE, PEACE AND FREEDOM????

 

 

There is confusion everywhere !!!!!. PUZZLEMENT between The REAL and the REEL world. Everyone is glued to the screen and whatever they see is made to believe . Leaving no time to the mind to think if it is TRUE or FALSE ; if it is RIGHT or WRONG.

Where are those days when simple things mattered?? Playing with friends in the evening without thinking if we are safe or not. We did not need any board games or video games …..a simple hide and seek, blind and buff would do it all. It gave everlasting fun that lingers in the mind even today. We did not have photos or videos of our accomplishments and friends but we still remember those people who made a mark in our lives.

We made friends…just friends …they were not for a PURPOSE. We sang prayer songs , participated in society functions, laughed, strolled around.

 

Did religion or mother tongue of  our acquaintances cross our mind. ……It was only during the then Bombay riots in 1993 that as kids we understood that there are these two sects of people who are fighting against each other. What was the reason ???? I did not know. I just knew that some of my friends ran out of their houses , their houses were destroyed, their books, , clothes were burnt.

 

We had a very kind and loving teacher in the primary section of our school. I still remember how loving she was to all the students even though she taught us or not. Schools were closed for few days as the tension prevailed.

When things were normal and we came back to school; we came to know that the so called teacher resigned and shifted from our place. May be she was a victim of these riots!!!!      

We lost a loving teacher. Whose loss?????…students loss!!!!

 

Humanity is the greatest thing as long we are humans. Nothing more….Nothing less…

History has proved that we as a country have been blessed with ancient heritage, intellectual people , art, and architecture. This is due to its diverse people belonging to different religion, caste and community . The world knows that we can be a superpower and this can be destroyed by the simple age old tried and tested method of DIVIDE and RULE.

As intellectual people we need to understand this and control our actions accordingly if………we love our COUNRTY, if we love PEACE , if we love FREEDOM……

From what I recollect is that my relation with God started right from my school days. I remember praying to him when I forgot a particular subject book ....I pray.....

and that particular teacher would not be present on that day...... My faith grew from these small instances and my relation grew stronger day by day. 

I am fortunate to have parents who have inculcated the faith in me right from my childhood. Over the period of time going to college , work, I tried to stick to the teachings from the Bible study. One who  leads a Christian life will agree to this. It is not easy to lead a Christian life in today’s world.

Matthew chapter 7:7 says, “Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek and you shall find; knock and the door shall be opened to you”.                                                                                                                                          Even today for the  smallest thing ...I just close my eyes and pray. I realise that God is walking with me in every step of my life.

Our relationship with God can be developed on the basis of our own experiences it cannot be made in a day or two. Pray just .....pray to God before you do anything and you will find him miraculously helping you with it. 

Finally   “Follow Jesus not just because he can provide but because he can satisfy your deepest hunger the quest for eternal fellowship with him”…

 

CHRISTMAS

As the winter holidays draw closer, the song of “Jingle Bells” starts ringing in my ears….The sound of church bells resonates with the sentiments of nativity of Christ…the shepherds …the angels and the choir of heavenly bliss…………..

I stand in awe, like a child admiring the Christmas tree covered with snow towering over me….The reindeer along with the sledge standing beside me….Awwww!!!!!! The child in me awaits for the Santa Claus to fulfil my wish………….The magic of Christmas draws me closer towards itself every year and I wait in enchantment to experience this captivating feeling.

Christmas is the season of hope, love and being loved, care and kindness. It is the most wonderful time of the year. The time when we can hope for the dreams to come TRUE…The time of the year when everything is calm, peaceful and full of joy.

Let’s spread the cheer of Christmas everywhere. Let’s gather and celebrate not only with the privileged few but also with those who are left alone. Let nobody be lonely and deprived…let the spirit of Christmas burst in everyone’s heart. It’s a life force that flows and sustains life and spreads light among the people. Don’t lose heart because love will find you...... The sacredness of Christmas spreads the light that shines and can never be conquered by darkness!!!!

When anything and everything can happen!!

 Glory to God in the highest

He kept me and my family alive and safe

There's peace when I submit in him

No fear, no worry, no pain

There was a time!  When people were worried about the increasing population.....

There was a time!  When laws were enforced to deprive people from getting citizenship....

There was a time!  When people wanted to show off their wealth and beauty.

It's nice.. that time stays as.... "There was a time!!!!!

Its sad but true that the irony of the situation is  Pandemic has made the world a better place !!!! Pollution level has come down.....The population has come down by 6 lacs within few months!!

God has forgiven his people several times. We read in the Bible how he brought the Israelites out of the clutches of Pharaoh in Egypt. Time and again he has saved his people but people continue to betray him.

Colossians 3:6 says" For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience".A time when people have become so self centered and evil where everything is driven by hypocrisy and sycophancy. Everyone and everything is fake.  It's time, time for God to intervene.

So the "Pandemic".....Pandemic is taking the form of a curse on the people. Scientists , doctors, medical professionals are trying day in and day out to come up with a vaccine. But no guaranteed vaccine has come in the market.

Zephaniah 1:18 says " Neither their silver nor their gold,will be able to deliver them on the day of God's wrath."  For no money or riches can save us from God's anger and he will make an hasty end to all those who inhibit the earth!

Psalms 77:14 says" You are the GOD who performs miracles; You display  your power among the people.

Lets bow down, fall on our knees and pray for his mercy....Pray that we will be able to see and witness a miracle of God wiping COVID - 19 from the face of the earth.

Amen.
